How To Contribute to BEDL

Thank you for your interest in contributing digital objects to the Biosystems Engineering Digital Library (BEDL). BEDL offers free access to a wide range of digital objects and resources, including photos, datasets, videos, and interactive tools, that support teaching and learning in biosystems engineering worldwide. By sharing your digital objects, you help enrich the educational experience of students and educators by expanding access to quality and verified instructional materials that foster broader learning and engagement. Contributing is simple: just register as a user and follow the steps outlined below to get started:

Step 1: Register as a User or Login if Already Registered

• Complete the registration process for security verification by following the system instructions on the registration page.
• The registration authentication process typically takes less than 3 minutes, depending on your internet connection.

Step 2: Submit Your Contribution

• Complete all required metadata fields in the form.
• Upload your object(s) file(s)
• After entering all the required metadata and uploading your object(s), click Submit.
• You’ll receive a confirmation message when your submission is received.

Step 3: Review and Approval

• An ASABE BEDL moderator will review your submission within approximately one week.
• If approved, you will receive an email with the approval information, and the object(s) will be added to BEDL and made available to the global community.
• If the moderator has questions about the metadata and/or object, you will receive an email asking for responses.
• If not approved, you will receive an email with instructions on how to revise and resubmit.
